Volunteering in Mme Michelle’s Class
Volunteering is a great way to support the Kindergarten program and to see your child in the learning environment. I’m sure it comes as no surprise that Kindergarten is a busy place, so please come ready to work and have fun!
Below is a list of opportunities that are available. If you are interested in any of the following, please let me know as soon as possible or during our upcoming Parent/Teacher Conferences. Please note that classroom volunteer dates will start in October.

The link for the PM class sign up is here: www.volunteersignup.org/CL9HH
A Few Reminders:
You MUST have a current security clearance check on file in the office prior to assisting in the classroom. You must have a valid CBE Annual Volunteer Registration Form completed as well as a Calgary Police Service Security Check on file in the office.
When volunteering, please sign in at the volunteer desk outside the office and pick up a nametag before proceeding to the classroom. Remember to return your lanyard / name tag before signing out and please remember that alternate care must be made for younger siblings.
While you are volunteering, your child is expected to follow the routines and expectations set for all students. Your support in this area is appreciated.
If you wish to one of our room representatives, please contact me via email as soon as possible.
Due to confidentially constraints, I do require your permission for your name, email address and phone number to be given to the room representatives. I will be asking for this during conferences. Please note that personal information shared will only be used for classroom organization purposes and to coordinate volunteers. Any other use of this information is prohibited.
TALENT SEARCH
Do you have a special talent, skill or expertise to share? Maybe you’re a doctor, biologist, chef, athlete, scientist, vet, police officer, firefighter, engineer, architect, builder, inventor or researcher. Maybe you speak another language or celebrate traditions from another culture. If so, and you’re willing to share, I would love to hear from you! We learn many things in Kindergarten – please come share with us!
Volunteers are most appreciated and contribute significantly to student learning. Thank you for joining us.
